The story, the character, the creators, country of origin.
Toy Story is the first feature-length animated film entirely created using computer-generated imagery, released in 1995 in the United States. Produced by Pixar Studios for Walt Disney Pictures, it was directed by John Lasseter and revolutionized the film industry.

The film tells the story of a group of toys that come to life as soon as humans leave the room. The plot focuses on the rivalry, then unexpected friendship, between a traditional cowboy and a sophisticated space toy as they vie for the affection of their young owner, Andy.

Sheriff Woody is a pull-string rag doll, the respected and loyal leader of the room. Protective and initially a bit jealous, this character embodies the values of friendship and devotion. He is a vintage toy inspired by a fictional 1950s television show.
