The story, the character, the creators, country of origin.
Max Headroom is a satirical science fiction television series created by George Stone, Rocky Morton, and Annabel Jankel. Airing on ABC in the United States starting in 1987, this cyberpunk work depicts a futuristic dystopia dominated by all-powerful television networks.

The plot follows Edison Carter, a fearless investigative journalist fighting corruption within his own employer, Network 23. After a serious accident, his mind is digitized, giving rise to Max Headroom, an artificial intelligence capable of freely navigating the world's computer networks.

Max Headroom is a sarcastic digital entity, famous for his electronic stutter and sharp wit. While he is a reflection of Edison Carter's personality, he acts as a cynical and humorous observer of human contradictions and the media excesses of his time.
