The Adventures of Colargol is a Franco-Polish animated series created by Albert Barillé and directed by Tadeusz Wilkosz at the Se-ma-for studio. Broadcast in France from 1970 on ORTF, the series is adapted from the original stories by Olga Pouchine.
The plot follows the adventures of a little music-loving bear who wants to learn to sing. Despite a difficult start, his journey leads him to meet the King of Birds to obtain a magic whistle, before embarking on adventures around the world, from the Pimoulu Circus to outer space.
Colargol is a brave, polite, and persevering bear cub with a cheerful disposition. Although he is initially a dunce at the forest school, his passion for music and his desire to succeed drive him to overcome all obstacles with optimism.
