The story, the character, the creators, country of origin.
Tom and Jerry is a series of American animated short films created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1940 for MGM Studios. This cult classic of slapstick comedy is based on an endless rivalry brought to life with high-quality animation and a synchronized orchestral soundtrack.

The plot follows the farcical clashes between a house cat and a small mouse living under the same roof. Jerry uses all his ingenuity to escape Tom's traps, transforming every room of the house into an inventive and hilarious hunting ground.

Jerry is a mischievous, lively, and extremely intelligent brown mouse. Although smaller than his adversary, he possesses a courageous character and adaptability that allow him to consistently triumph over Tom's schemes with humor.
