Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is an American-Japanese action series created by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, launched in 1993 on Fox Kids. Produced by Saban Entertainment, it adapts the visuals of the Japanese Super Sentai franchise for Western audiences.
The story follows five courageous teenagers chosen by the entity Zordon to protect Earth from the sorceress Rita Repulsa. Using sacred medallions, they transform into super-powered warriors piloting giant robots called Dinozords.
