Space Sheriff Shaider is a Japanese tokusatsu television series produced by Toei Animation. Created by Saburō Yatsude and written by Shozo Uehara, it aired in Japan on TV Asahi between March 1984 and March 1985. It is the third and final installment in the Space Sheriff trilogy.
The plot follows the Galactic Federal Police's fight against the evil Fuuma organization, led by Emperor Kublai Khan, which attempts to conquer Earth after devastating several planets.
The main character, Dai Sawamura, is a young archaeologist recruited by the Galactic Police after deciphering the Nazca Lines. Under the codename Shaider, he becomes a courageous and determined guardian, using his blue combat armor and his spaceship, Babylos, to protect humanity from extraterrestrial threats.
