Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is an American action series created by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, launched in 1993 on Fox Kids. Produced by Saban Entertainment, it adapts sequences from the Japanese Super Sentai franchise for Western audiences.
The plot follows five high school students recruited by the wise Zordon to protect Earth from the evil witch Rita Repulsa. Endowed with superhuman powers and piloting giant robots called Dinozords, they fight to preserve world peace.
