Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is an American action television series created by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, which premiered in 1993 on Fox Kids. Adapted from the Japanese Super Sentai franchise by Toei Company, it has become a global pop culture phenomenon.

The plot follows a group of high school students recruited by the wise Zordon to protect Earth from the attacks of the sorceress Rita Repulsa. Using their Power Medallions, they transform into colorful warriors piloting enormous combat robots called Zords.
