Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is an American-Japanese action television series created by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, produced by Saban Entertainment, and first broadcast in 1993 on Fox Kids. It adapts the fight scenes of the Japanese Super Sentai franchise for Western audiences.
The plot follows a group of five teenagers recruited by the wise Zordon to protect Earth from the sorceress Rita Repulsa. Using their power medallions, they transform into costumed warriors piloting giant robots called Dinozords to fight evil monsters.
The Green Ranger is portrayed by Tommy Oliver, initially an antagonist under Rita's control before joining the team. A formidable and charismatic warrior, he quickly becomes the franchise's most iconic member, renowned for his courage and exceptional martial arts skills.
