Molierisimo is a French animated series created by Bruno-René Huchez and produced by the IDDH studio. Broadcast on Canal+ since 1989, this educational and adventurous series aims to introduce children to the world of classical theater through dynamic storytelling.

The plot follows the adventures of the Illustre Théâtre troupe throughout 17th-century France. Between court intrigues under Louis XIV and dramatic performances, the series blends historical fact and fiction to recount the rise of the kingdom's most famous troupe of actors.

The character of Molière, whose real name was Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, is portrayed as a brilliant playwright and actor, both audacious and visionary. A protective leader of men, particularly towards the young Quentin, he fights with wit and tenacity to establish his art despite the censorship and rivalries of the time.
